Inviting your team
The Members screen is where you add colleagues to your Sherpa workspace, assign them a role, and keep track of who has access. Whether you are onboarding a new associate or removing someone who has left the firm, this is your single place to manage it.
Getting there
Section titled “Getting there”Open Settings, then select Members from the sidebar. The page header shows a live count of everyone currently in your workspace.
What you can do
Section titled “What you can do”Invite a teammate
Section titled “Invite a teammate”- In the Invite form at the top of the page, enter your colleague’s email address in the Teammate email field.
- Use the Role dropdown to choose the role they should have. The options come from your workspace’s configured roles.
- Click Send invite. Sherpa sends an email to that address with a link your teammate uses to accept and create their account.
Your colleague’s invite appears in the Pending invites panel below the form until they accept. That panel shows their email, assigned role, who sent the invite, the date it was sent, and the date it expires.
Manage a pending invite
Section titled “Manage a pending invite”Inside Pending invites you have two actions per row:
- Resend — sends a fresh copy of the invitation email if your colleague missed the original.
- Revoke — cancels the invite. Sherpa asks you to confirm before revoking.
Both actions require the appropriate role permissions. If you do not see the buttons, ask a workspace Owner.
View and update active members
Section titled “View and update active members”The Workspace members panel lists everyone who has already accepted an invitation. Columns show each person’s email address and their current role.
- Change a role — use the role dropdown in the Role column to reassign a member immediately. The dropdown is disabled if you do not have the
members:assign_rolepermission, or if the member is the last remaining Owner (Sherpa prevents you from accidentally removing your only Owner). - Remove a member — click Remove to revoke their access. Sherpa asks you to confirm. The same last-Owner safeguard applies here.
If your workspace has many members, a Load more button appears at the bottom of the table.
